After three years of hard work on the music blog side of Pastel Wasteland, and getting to know and help promote artists across the world, it’s time to say goodbye.
Since the pandemic, I believe everyone’s focus has adjusted, and we just don’t have the time to commit to making the blog bigger and better. I know for me (Rob), listening to submissions and writing up articles for a wide range of genres across the lockdown period helped give the days a sense of change and excitement, and I’ll be forever grateful for everyone who has supported us in any way.
I’ve also had the chance to work with some super exciting artists on music videos, both remotely and in-person, and this has been a brilliant challenge and experience all around.
I also owe a huge thank you to Ryan who jumped head-first into this process with me back in 2018, and who has been a huge support both personally and professionally throughout the period, and who will of course remain a great friend.
This isn’t the end of our creative journeys – far from it.
Pastel Wasteland will continue its life as a horror-focused production company and film festival, and I will continue to make music videos under my name – you can find out more about both of these things at pastelwaste.land and robulitski.co.uk respectively. You can also follow me on Instagram and Twitter at @robulitski
Ryan will also be continuing his writing in a different capacity, and we will update this message with news and information as it happens. You can follow Ryan on Twitter at @Caus3s
A huge, heartfelt thank you to our small but dedicated fanbase and everyone who has had a hand in making Pastel Wasteland a true joy to work on.
All the best for the future, and keep in touch!
Rob + Ryan
