Brand new Denmark-based duo This Boy present the ethereal ‘Heart Is Broken’.
Blending elements of electropop, lo-fi bedroom pop and more experimental work, the track is a hypnotic journey through gentle soundscapes and cutting synthesisers.
The use of a choir adds a transcendent element to the track, which complements the lead vocals and really expands the auditory experience.
This really is a must-listen, if only for the creativity and inventiveness on show, and with each of the artists having had big success in Japan and Denmark as songwriters/ producers, the path looks very bright for This Boy.
